1) |
Create a "Symbol"
using the "Insert", "Convert
to Symbol" method. If you don't know
how to do that click
here. |
2) |
Think about
how you want your "Symbol" to move.
How long do you want it to be in motion for?
Where do you want it to go? For now we are
going to make a symbol move from left to right
in a straight line.
The first frame of your time line is where
you "Symbol" is right now. If you
click that "Symbol" and move it
to the left side of your stage you will have
set the start point of your "Symbol." |
3) |
Select Frame
30 on your time line in the same layer your
"Symbol" is on. |
4)
|
Go to "Insert",
"Keyframe."
After you have done that a filled dot will
be in frame 30. |
5) |
Select the filled
dot in frame 30 |
6) |
Select the "Symbol"
on the stage and move it to the far right
side of the stage. |
7) |
Select Frame
1 to see if your "Symbol" is still
sitting on the left side of the screen. If
it is then continue. If not repeat step 6. |
8) |
Click on any
Frame in between 1 and 30. This will highlight
all or just one Frame. |
9) |
Go to "Insert",
"Create Motion Tween." You will
notice that all of the Frames between 1 and
30 have turned purple and there is a black
arrow pointing to the right. If you have a
purple section and a dashed black line then
Flash is not recognizing frame 30 as having
the same "Symbol" as Frame 1. |
10) |
Hit "Enter"
on your keyboard to test the move. It will
stop at the end of the animation so you will
have to hit "Enter" again to start
it over. |
